A wine coming from a tiny bloc of 2 acres of 50 year old vines on the steep slope of the Cote du Py hill in Morgon. The vineyard is located at 1200 ft high and the soil is composed of schist of blue granite with presence of manganese, the iron mineral bringing minerality, raciness and smokiness to the wine.
Pair with bbq, grilled meat, roasted chicken or turkey, or mexican food.
